In Dr. Smith’s continuing effort to give back to our community in effective and impactful ways, our office has teamed up with the amazing organization JDRF, to raise awareness and support for type 1 diabetes research. “As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring $568 million in scientific research in 17 countries. In 2012 alone, JDRF provided more than $110 million to T1D research,” and we are honored to help them towards their goal of removing the impact T1D has on the lives of so many, even here in our own neighborhoods.
To aid JDRF’s efforts, Dr. Smith will be providing monetary donations for each and every new patient we see through the month of August!
