On Saturday, June 21st, Dr. Stephen Smith and our team will be taking a stand and fighting back against cancer by participating in the Gilroy Relay for Life community event, and we're encouraging you to join us!
Relay for Life is a fantastic organization that supports the fight against cancer through community based fund raising efforts and participation in many fun events that move us all to celebrate, remember, and fight back in the battle against cancer. Dr. Smith and our team are honored to join the Gilroy Relay for Life event, and to date, the local fundraiser has raised over $72,000 dollars in money that will be used to help end cancer.
At the event, which promises to be a day full of family fun, we will have a large tent and will be raffling off a Sonicare Toothbrush or Waterpik. In addition, we will be there educating and answering questions about oral cancer and what you can do to help prevent the terrible disease. Our team captain, Renee, has been working hard to get our team ready for the big day, and we're all eagerly looking forward to this truly awesome event!
There are many ways you and your family can join our efforts, whether it is participating in the Relay or donating to our team, and we definitely encourage you to attend the event!
