This week, Dr. Stephen Smith and our team will be in Scottsdale, AZ, attending the 21st Annual Seattle Study Club Symposium. The Seattle Study Club, consisting of over 250 skilled and experienced dental specialists all across the world, is dedicated to innovating and improving care and treatment for patients. The Seattle Study Club is comprised of smaller, local clubs or chapters. These annual meetings allow many different specialists, like Dr. Smith, and their teams to come together and discuss the latest trends and techniques in order to improve the already high level of care each office has committed to provide!
This year, our team has prepared and geared up for a great Symposium! Much of our preparation was dedicated to getting ready for the World Team Treatment Planning Competition. This will be a unique and exciting opportunity for Dr. Smith’s office to compete against other teams in creating outstanding treatment plans. Here’s how it works:
A specific issue is presented to the various smaller clubs, and then each club is charged with developing the most effective and beneficial treatment plan within a certain amount of time. Once completed, a group of esteemed judges and the audience will decide which club’s plan is the best. We can’t wait for the competition!
